p55. Mostly poor, many basal, bowed or bent, frequent gaps. Hidden from the road below by narrow belt of Tsuga (p57).

GMH 19m high at age 70. Stocking density 918/ha.  If you hadn't read John White's comments you might think they had been thinned. Obviously recovered since the 1987 survey. The trees all appeared to be healthy and slightly larger diameter than the sempervirens but lower in height & numbers. MAI 12
